My Story
With a career focused on the disability, health and community sectors, my life changed profoundly when my husband became critically ill, an experience that shifted me from seasoned professional to primary carer.
This transformation highlighted the gaps in our care systems and inspired me to share my story publicly through my podcast, where I explore the raw reality of unpaid caring in Australia.

Today, I use my voice to drive conversation and change perspective. As a keynote speaker, I bring clarity, empathy, humour, and unflinching honesty to topics such as care, resilience, and systems reform. My storytelling is grounded in lived experience and driven by a belief in the power of community and collective action.

I invite audiences to rethink how we value care, not just in policy, but in community, and to have an understanding of those so often unheard.

What others say about me
"By speaking the hard truths that others won’t, Kristine ensures that carers are no longer invisible."
"Kristine challenges the status quo and believes that by cutting through bureaucracy, policies and funding can redirect their focus on building stronger communities where carers experience greater wellbeing through connection, financial assistance, respite services, and access to essential resources—reducing the emotional and financial strain that many carers endure."
